An Invasion of Coalition
By Hailey Childress
Division, fear, and anxiety
I’m not quite sure what’s in front of ME.. at this point
I hear my friends insecurely talk of their positions*
And i hear my leaders aggressively give their opinions*
Such harsh provisions* I tell you
And self-crediting revisions* for what?
Divisions, divisions, divisions.
Way too many propositions*
And futuristic missions*
These oppositions* are making incisions* on my heart
When do we stop*, and drop* the never-ending good cop* bad cop*
We’ve gone over the TOP*
Brothers and sisters, its time to and PROP* open the door to a new conversation
Jesus
When did we allow for disagreements to make our decisions*?
I thought I was strong-minded, but now my opposing view is making revisions*
on every thing I say
My life long friend and I have not spoken because of our opposition* on every topic
And every person I meet has unsaid preconditions* before becoming my friend
How can one thing I say completely determine how you view me*?
If I told you I was vaccinated, you might see me to a different degree*
And If I told you I will never BE vaccinated you are almost guaranteed* to view me differently*
Could we disagree* that we are foreseeing* opportunity* to love?
Who is the referee in this ongoing debate*?
Are we able to control our tongues? And silence our hate*?
Oh God please help us
Let our hearts grieve before our blood boils
And when we fill with rage, silence us
I can’t go to my closest family member due to the judgement I will receive*
Open hearts? More like a bitter face and disbelief*
We can’t have an open heart when we don’t perceive* an opinion just as an opinion.
So.. Please, I beg you!
Drop the ammunition* and give yourself permission* to listen* before you speak,
This is no mission*, this is an opportunity to practice submission* to God our father!
Matthew 12:25
“Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against it will not stand.”
